Product Details
842E EtherNet/IP Absolute Encoders
Allen Bradley 842E series ultra-high resolution EtherNet/IP absolute encoders provide dual-port Ethernet and M12 connectors. The 842E series encoders are designed for high performance and reliability in harsh industrial environments. Encoders include an embedded EtherNet/IP switch to connect additional Ethernet/IP capable products in series and/or support a Device Level Ring (DLR) for Ethernet media redundancy.
Available in single-turn 18-bit resolution and multi-turn 30-bit resolution, these high-resolution absolute encoders are ideal for automotive, material handling and general factory automation applications.

Allen Bradley Absolute Encoder, 30-Bit Resolution, Ethernet Connectivity - 842E-MIP12BA
Reliably track the movement of products along your assembly line with this absolute encoder from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. Its function is to support precise monitoring by regularly producing numerical measurements of your object's angular position. With error limits of ±0.03°, the component ensures you get accurate information to help achieve close movement control. Integrated Ethernet connectivity lets it communicate with other network-enabled devices for convenient reading outputs. By achieving turn speeds up to 6000rpm, the encoder quickly collects data, so you can be sure of efficient measuring.
• Supports transfer speeds of 10 and 100Mbit/s for fast data transmission
• IP67 rating indicates dust-tight protection and resistance to temporary submersion in shallow water for use in demanding industrial conditions
• Bearing lifespan of three billion revolutions for longevity
• Low power consumption of 3W for energy-efficient sensing
