RS PRO Power over Ethernet (POE) Switch HAT for Raspberry Pi

For powering a Pi board without a power supply RS PRO presents this Ethernet switch HAT. Giving you the ability to plug in on top of your Pi and start work on your project immediately. Featuring overload, over temperature and short circuit protection to keep your project development on track.

What is POE or Power over Ethernet?

Simply put POE means only a network connection is needed for power, it allows network cables carry electrical power. This saves costs and time, it also allows flexibility as you do not need to be tethered to a main power source. Safety is also a key feature as POE devices are designed to protect the equipment in a network from overload.
