Evaluation Board for L5963Q

The EVAL-L5963Q evaluation board supports the automotive multi-channel voltage regulator L5963 in a VQFPN48 package. The L5963 device features two step-down switching regulators with internal power switches, a high-side driver and a low drop-out linear regulator that can operate as standby regulator or normal LDO. The board offers the flexibility to independently supply the various regulators and to work at a frequency up to 2MHz.

• DC1 output: +1.2V @ 3A, 2MHz
• DC2 output: +5V @ 3A, 250kHz
• Input voltage range: +3.5 to +26Vdc
• LDO/standby regulator providing up to 250mA
• Protected high-side driver (HSD) up to 0.5A
• DC-DC converters work in free-run or synchronized to external clock
• Programmable under-voltage battery detector
• Load dump protection
• Jumper links to enable/disable DC-DC converters
• Jumper links to enable/disable LDO regulator
• Independent supply pins for DC1, DC2 and LDO
• Screw connectors for connections to board
• L5963 device is AEC-Q100 qualified for Automotive applications
