You can use it when you're putting your cable through basic electric tests to measure earth bond resistance, insulation and polarity to check it's safe to use.

To carry out an IEC lead test on this adapter, plug it into the IEC socket and insert the connector into the integrated port. It's important to note that you can only carry out an IEC lead test with the PAT tester in single-test mode.
