OSI Blue Enhanced Series Photodiodes

The Blue Enhanced Detector series of photodiodes, from OSI Optoelectronics, is ideal for applications requiring high sensitivity in the visible-blue region coupled with moderate response speeds. These photodiodes provide additional sensitivity in the 350 to 550nm region when compared to regular photovoltaic devices.

High shunt resistance and low noise
Unbiased operation of these photodiodes offers stability under wide temperature variations in DC or low speed applications

Note

These photodiodes are not designed to be reverse biased, applying a reverse bias of more than a few volts (>3V) will permanently damage them.
