Schmersal RFID Non-Contact Safety Switch, M8, 600mA - RSS 260 Series - RSS260-D-ST


Use this non-contact safety switch from Schmersal to improve workplace safety in industrial environments. It has a coded actuator and uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to prevent tampering with the switch. It triggers an alarm when swivel doors are opened during operation, alerting you to a potential hazard.
This component can be connected with up to 31 sensors in series for easy diagnosis via a programmable logic controller (PLC), so you can monitor and configure multiple switches at the same time. It has a thermoplastic housing that offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in demanding industrial environments.

How do I identify the device's switching status?


This safety switch has three light-emitting diode (LED) indicators for easy status identification. Green indicates that there's a supply voltage, red shows an error and yellow means it's sensing.
