Ferrogard GD2 Non Contact Safety Switch

The Ferrogard GD2 is a magnetically actuated non-contact safety switch which offers reliability and a high tolerance to misalignment. Designed to be installed on a guard door, the action of the magnetic actuator being removed from the switch opens the N.C. safety contacts therefore isolating the control power to the machines primary control element. The switch is designed with a stainless steel housing, for heavy duty applications, to protect against inadvertent impacts. The contacts are completely sealed to meet IP68 (NEMA 6P) requirements, making them ideal for wet environments. The GD2 also has a higher temperature range than the plastic Ferrogard switches, making them useful in a wider range of applications.
