K8DT-AS/AW Single Phase Current Relay

Omron K8DT-AS/AW single phase current relays detect errors in motors and other equipment through current changes.

Monitor AC or DC currents with one Relay.
Use with commercially available current transformers
Width of 17.5 mm to reduce space required in panels.
Push-In Plus Terminal that reduce wiring work.
Double-insertion holes for crossover wiring (all terminals).

A monitoring / measuring relay is a protective control device, various types are available suiting what you wish to monitor. The relays receive input signals then monitor them and then output an alarm signal when a set value is reached (alarm relays). The relays protect your equipment against over voltage and over current faults. Omron K8DT measuring and monitoring relays are part of the Value Design for Panel concept that takes control panel design and manufacturing to a new level. The K8DT series protect important equipment from damage using various measuring and monitoring relays that conform to international safety standards. Low power consumption and low heat generation design offer a long service life.

Space Saving

The K8DT series can help downsize control panels by reducing the width between wiring ducts and void panel space. The slim body allows space to mount more devices in the same size of control panel to increase control panel functionality.

Push-In Plus Terminals

Push-In Plus terminal blocks on all K8DT relays reduce the time and work involved in wiring. The Push-In Plus terminals allow solid and stranded wires with pin terminals or ferrules to be inserted without the need for tools.
