D720-SC Single Phase Frequency Inverters
What is the D720-SC range?
The D700 is an ultra-compact, micro drive solution inverter drive range, designed for simple installation and set-up.
Features and Benefits
Simple cabling, the integrated spring clamps connect control and power lines quickly which ensures reliability and simple cabling.
Easy parameterisation software FR-Configurator encourages easy functions such as graphical machine analysis to optimize the drive system.
An integrated digital dial gives the user direct access to all of the important parameters.
The integrated four digit LED display monitors and displays current operating values and alarm messages.
Features a second transistor output which is sink selectable source logic safety input instead of sink logic.
Directly connect to PLC's instead of safety relays.
Features a Sensor-less vector control which enables exceptional speed and torque performance.
Serial interface (RS485) as standard.
Emergency safe stop input compliant to EN 61800-5-2.
Maximum short-term overload capacity of 200% for 0.5s.
Automatically restart after power failures.
Direct connection of an external braking resistor which improves stopping power.
The FR-D700 variable frequency drive (VFD) is typically used in standard applications due to it being user friendly and useful.
You will usually find these types of VFD being applied in feeder and conveyor drives, machining tools, gates and door drives.
Single phase inverter drives are suitable for a wide range of drive applications, ranging from simple fan and pump loads to high-torque machine control applications.
Can my VFD be mounted?
Yes, your VFD can be mounted directly side by side due to its ultra-compact dimensions. A line within the FR-D700 series facilitates effective, space saving and heat dissipation through an approximate 1cm thick cooling plate.
How long is the service life of my Variable Frequency Drive?
Your Inverter Drive is designed to have a service life of over ten years. This long service life is made possible through high performance heat resistance capacitors, cooling fans with sealed bearings and special lubricating grease. Any flow of cooling air that comes into contact with the VFD, only has contact with the heat sinks and not any electronic components – this means that no dust or dirt can gather. The circuit boards are protected against aggressive environments with single or double layer conformal coating, this is another great feature that prolongs the service life of the Inverter Drive.
CE, UL, cUL, GOST, RoHS
The power rating of this Mitsubishi Inverter Drive is 0.75 kW with a supply voltage of 230 V ac. Being part of the compact range, the VFDs overall length is only 128mm which makes it easy and simple to handle and install.
Mitsubishi D700 Range
The range replaces the popular S500 and E500 series of drives and is fully compatible with other products in the Mitsubishi 'Micro' family, including the FX3U PLC and GT1020 operator interfaces.
