Jacketed Infrared Linear Lamps

Jacketed infrared lamps are used for heating in many applications such as catering heated counters, and process drying applications which require instant shortwave heat patterns. The outer jacket offers protection against splashes and debris which will cause the lamp to fail quicker than normal. They are available in a range of lengths from 118 to 350mm.

These IR lamps are simple, effective, reliable,and economical to run. They are also dimmable and therefore can be temperature controlled via a power regulator (not supplied).

Virtually instant radiant heat after power-on.
Economical to operate
Suitable for universal mounting orientations

Note

Care must be taken not to touch the quartz tube with bare hands. Oils in the skin can adversely affect the quartz during operation and reduce lamp life. Also ensure the lamp is fitted correctly in its lamp holder.
