This RS fly killer unit utilises UVA rays, which are the most effective way to attract flying insects, such as flies, moths, mosquitoes and other flying insects. The fly killer and bug zapper uses no chemicals, no smell, no sprays and is pollution free, as the insects are electrocuted by the electrically charged metal grids. This fly killer light fitting can be used free standing, wall mounted or suspended from the ceiling with the supplied chain. The fly killer and bug zapper should be fitted with shatterproof UVA tubes, but if shatterproof tubes are not required standard UVA tubes can also be fitted. This bug zapper is recommended for areas where food is served, prepared or eaten. It is recommended that the tubes are changed every year, as the UV content of the lamps reduces over time.
