Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.

These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

Monitor and regulate liquid levels reliably with this horizontal float switch from Sensata's Cynergy3 range. Its actuator has an integrated magnet that signals a sensor to open and close the switch's contacts in response to changes in the liquid level. This action makes the component an effective solution for activating pumps or alarms. A wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +120°C makes it suitable for use with both cold and hot liquids. This switch is designed for external mounting, so it's a good choice when there's no access to the inside of a tank. To install it, simply insert its 1/2-inch NPT (National Pipe Thread) connection through a hole in the tank wall. The M12 plug makes it simple to connect cables for ease of wiring.
