RS PRO 52.8 W Embedded Switch Mode Power Supply SMPS, 24 V DC, Enclosed
This 52.8 W embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) from RS PRO converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) more efficiently than traditional units.
Many appliances use DC power, but household electricity runs through the mains as AC. SMPSs take AC power and transfer it to a DC load for charge compatible devices. Inside each unit, a circuit regulator switches on and off continuously, preventing energy from being wasted unnecessarily.
This model offers excellent efficiency, a long working life and can be used in a wide range of applications. It has a vented metal case to reduce heat dissipation and built-in convection cooling that combats overheating. Compact and lightweight, this SMPS also has a simple chassis mount which makes it easy to install.
Like all products in the RS PRO range, this unit is UL and CE approved for safety. It’s also RoHS certified, so it doesn't contain hazardous substances.
