Product Details
RS PRO Straight PCB Mount SMA Connector, Jack
This female SMA receptacle from the RS PRO range is a standard radio frequency (RF) connector that joins coaxial cables together.
Coaxial cables (or coax cables) allow you to transmit RF signals from one point to another and are used by homeowners, business owners and internet providers to convey data. When paired with a male connector of the same type, this straight PCB-mount receptacle allows you to join two coax cables together with ease.
The connector can be soldered onto flexible and semi-rigid cables and is available for the two most commonly used microwave cables – RG402/U and RG405/U. It has a gold-plated brass body making it an excellent conductor and a beryllium copper contact material that keeps the connector strong, despite its use in situations that require multiple insertions.
Accepting a variety of cables, this connector provides high-frequency performance at high power ratings in small diameters.
