LED lighting is capable of significantly cutting the operating costs in the industrial spaces due to their energy-efficiency as compared to traditional high-power light fixtures.
The Connected Lighting platform from onsemi allows for rapid prototyping of smart LED lighting solutions. The platform consists of four standard modules: an LED Module, an LED Driver Module, AC/DC Module and Bluetooth® Low Energy Connectivity module featuring RSL10 SIP. The Power Over-Internet (PoE) module for wired connectivity up to 90 Watts, as well as the Energy Harvesting Bluetooth® Low Energy Switch, are available separately.
The LED Module incorporates two strings of 16 LEDs with warm and cool white variants and can achieve a maximum brightness of 7000 Lumen.
The LED Driver Module supports two individual LED channels that are designed for 25W of maximum power at constant current operation. The module is based around FL7760, which is a constant current buck CCM controller IC.
Dedicated high-efficiency (>90 percent at full load) AC/DC Power Module can be utilized to power to LEDs and LED Driver modules. The module features two FL7740 flyback controllers with power factor correction (PFC).
Power Over Ethernet (PoE) module can also be used to deliver 90W of power through the Ethernet cable. The module is based on NCP1096 interface controller, which is complaint with IEEE 802.3bt standard.
BLE Switch that operates from harvested energy and based on RSL10 SIP is available for battery-less lighting control applications.
