An uninterruptible power supply or uninterruptible power supply often shortened to UPS is a component that is used as an emergency power source when power fails. It provides nearly instant protection from power outages by supplying the energy stored from a battery inside, this means it has a relatively short time power supply. A UPS system is not a substitute for a backup generator or normal power supply that bridges the gap in between a power outage and the backup generator.
We also carry a variety of accessories for UPS systems such as a replacement battery or wall or rack mounting kits.
In our complete guide we look at what portable generators are, what they’re used for, as well as the different types that are available on the market.
