Perforated sheets can be used for filtering in liquids and foods, for air movement and also a way to create shading panels without fully blocking all light.**Checker Plate** – Unlike plain and perforated metal sheets, checker plate sheets have a pattern punched into the face of the material. This punched pattern created a relief often known as the tread. Often aluminium sheeting has a 0.2mm to 6.5 mm gauge thickness, above this gauge would be classed as an aluminium plate. They are easy to cut, drill and shape and can have a smooth coating too.</p><h2>What types of aluminium sheets are there?</h2><p><strong>1050A</strong> is a moderate-strength alloy and is typically used in electrical and chemical industries based on its corrosion resistance and high electrical conductivity. It can be formed easily and welded, it comes supplied in metal sheet and aluminium rolled circle form. Applications include industrial engineering, building and construction and transport.</p><p><strong>6082</strong> Aluminium sheets are medium/high strength alloy heat resistant material. Welded or machine formed with good corrosion resistance and can be easily anodised. Suitable in structural work applications.</p><p><strong>Perforated</strong> aluminium sheet 500 mm x 500mm available in 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm and 1.2mm thickness. Presenting different hole patterns, hole diameters and spacing. Ideal for air movement, and filtering foods/liquids applications.</p>

Brass CZ108 (CW508L) is a high-grade alpha alloy construction that has good corrosion resistance. Brass sheets type BS2874/CZ121M (1986) BS EN 12164/CW614N alloy have resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. The solid form metal plates are presented in two colours yellow and natural finish.</p><p>The brass sheets are ideal for copper smithing applications, signage, door plates and kickers.
