Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings are a type of bearing which feature spherical shaped rolling elements. Like traditional bearings, spherical roller bearings consist of an inner ring and outer ring. Each ring features a raceway which the rollers sit within. The roller bearing also features cages to keep the rollers distanced and enable smooth rotation.

Spherical roller bearings are ideal for heavy axial and radial loads. Heavy loads can also encounter misalignment. Spherical roller bearings are able to handle misalignment. Sealed spherical roller bearings are also available to reduce contamination. Spherical roller bearings are ideal for large applications which may be prone to misalignment, such as wind turbines and pumps.
