Light Beams

Light beams or “Laser scanners” are compact systems that scan their surroundings using a beam. How do they work? They emit light beams that if upon successful contact with an object will send a signal back to the receiver with the purpose of alerting or tracking moving objects. An internal rotating mirror moves the light pulses in a circle to produce a 2-dimensional scan.
