Robotic arms present a versatile addition to automated systems. With varying points of articulation and motor speeds available, an articulated robotic arm can be used to offer a higher level of precision and consistency for lots of different applications. How are Robotic Arms Powered?

Robot arms are powered by servo motors and kits are usually supplied with a controller. They can be used in conjunction with tools or devices to perform specialist tasks on a workpiece with a degree of accuracy and speed that can increase workplace efficiency and manufacturing quality.

Although they are able to be manually operated for tasks such as prototyping, robotic arms are programmable and have accurate degrees of repeatability for continuous production applications. They offer a highly reliable and high-speed option in everything from laboratory support to manufacturing.
