Copper Tapes

Copper tape comes in two forms, either conductive or non-conductive and is an excellent addition to your tool box. Made with a thin layer of copper the tapes are flexible and can take on any shape.

Uses
Copper tapes have numerous different applications within electronics. The tapes can be used for creating low profile traces for components, as RF shielding and for making antennas. They can also be used to join things together using solder or use to keep snails and slugs out of your garden.

Types
Copper tape comes in two forms, either conductive or non-conductive and is an excellent addition to your toolbox:

  • Conductive adhesive copper tapes conduct electricity on both the top and bottom so you can make electrical connections just by taping one copper tape to another.
  • Non-conductive adhesive copper tapes are only conductive on the top. Solder the tapes together to create a reliable electrical connection.
