Single Needle Roller Bearing Joints

Single precision Universal Joint with needle roller bearings

Only angular misalignment can be accommodated. If both angular and parallel misalignments are present then a double bearing joint should be used.

Miniature Universal Joints - Lenze

Used for connecting a wide range of equipment where angular misalignment above 5 degrees is expected. They are rugged and compact and have industry proven reliability. Applications include connecting line shafts, drive shafts, conveyors and most types of rotating machinery to a prime mover. The Plain Bearing Joints have a maximum speed of 1000rpm with an operating angle of 3° to 45° and the Needle Roller Bearing Joints have a maximum speed of 4000rpm with an operating angle of 5° to 45°. Operation is smooth and silent. Note that the plain bearing types require regular lubrication to ensure a long life.,Gaiters are recommended for most applications, particulary where no other safety guarding is provided, and can be found in the following range in this section.
