The CELLv1.0 from SparqEE is a tiny add-on board that is perfect for integrating wireless communication into your Arduino or Raspberry Pi board. With its 2G and 3G chipset, you can access the Internet anywhere you go, nationally and internationally. Where 3G is not available, the CELLv1.0 automatically switches to 2G —simple.
The CELLv1.0 comes with an integrated mini SIM card holder, a power supply, an external antenna and antenna port. The CELLv1.0 does not come with a SIM card. To connect your Arduino and/or Pi board you need an Arduino or Raspberry Pi shield (811-0723, 811-0714, 830-3215).
What about the SIM card for the CELLv1.0? CELLv1.0 works to your preferences. You can use your mobile phone SIM card, a pre-paid SIM card or a SparqEE own SparqSIM. Your choice.
