Peak output from the UV tubes occurs in the region of 350nm. An instruction leaflet is supplied (includes information for making PCBs).

Does Exactly what it says
This is an excellent and easy to use product. I use it in conjunction with the photopositive PCB boards from RS, with artwork prepapred by DesignSpark PCB. For processing I use the Sodium Metasilicate (also sold by RS) and Ferric Chloride which can be got pretty well anywhere. One you have prepare the artwork onto transparency expose the PCB for the time recommended on the data sheet for the board (6 minutes for the boards that I used) Then develop using the Sodium Metasilicate in a developing tray - work in yellow light or subdued light. Very quikly, around a minute or so, the copper to be etched away later will be fully revealed. The copper should appear bright with the masked areas apprearing relativly darg green. After washing and etching the result is a pin-sharp PCB that could easily pass for commercial manufacture. Tips. (1) Obviously make sure that the artwork is the correct side up and then tape guides onto the artwork against which two sides of the PCB can be located. This will help ensure that your alignment is correct and consistent every time, (2) When etching, take care to ensure that all the copper that should be removed, has been removed and then leave it a further half minute or so to be certain. (3) Like all chemical processes, temperature is an inportant factor. To maintain a constant tempertaure I warm the chemils to the right temperature and also warm the developer trays just a bit more. I also float the developer tray on a larger developer tray containing warm water. This helps keep the temperature constant and helps with keeping the chemicals agitated. (4) tape a length of sellostape to the plastic side of the board to help get the board in and out of the chemicals. Avoid using tongs as these may damage the photo-resist. Happy constructions !
