Digilent’s Digital Discovery™ unit is both a logic analyser and a pattern generating instrument specially designed to help optimize channels as well as both speed and portability. Allowing you to debug and visualize as well as simulate digital signals for most embedded projects. The Digital Discovery is driven by the free WaveForms software.

The programmable power supply supplies the Logic Analyser input buffers as well as the Pattern Generator input/output buffers to keep logic-level consistency with the circuit under test. The small and portable unit has been designed for use in a wide range of applications and environments to withstand a variety of conditions.

What’s on board?
• Digital Logic Analyser: 8 channels @ 800Msps, 16 channels @ 400Msps or 32 channels @ 200Msps
• 16-channel 100Msps Pattern Generator
• 16-channel Virtual Digital I/O including buttons, switches and LEDs
• Digital Bus Analyser: SPI, I²C, UART and Parallel
• Programmable Power Supply: +1.2 to +3.3Vdc @ 100mA
• 2 x I/O digital trigger signals for linking multiple instruments
• USB communication with host PC via micro-AB connector

• Free WaveForms software runs on Windows, MacOS, and Linux

Note

For sampling rates over 200Msps, a High Speed Adapter (Digilent Part No. 410-349) must be used.
