Combined Sight Glass and Check Valve
A combined sight glass and check valve used to visually check the condition and leakage of steam traps. It can be installed horizontally or vertically (bottom to top), downstream of the steam trap. it is constructed with a bronze body, brass cover and borosilicate glass sight tube. The discharge tube is copper, ball check is stainless steel, bolts are steel plated and the gasket is made of graphite.
Connections are female screwed
Horizontal or vertical (bottom to top) installation
Caution
The sight checker should be fitted at least 1m from the trap to protect the glass from thermal pressure or shock.
