TE Connectivity PIDG Terminals

High quality terminals and splices for applications in hazardous operating conditions. The PIDG ("Pre-Insulated Diamond Grip") product range meets the requirements of military standards MIL-T-7928 and BS4G178. The terminals are constructed from high grade copper. The crimp barrel has inner serrations to ensure maximum contact with the stripped wire strands. A bonded nylon to copper sleeve is secured onto the terminal barrel providing simultaneous crimping of conductor and outer insulation giving a connection of high tensile strength and vibration resistance. PIDG kits also available, see 243-1052 & 414-6611 .,For Approvals to be maintained these terminals must be crimped using the tyco Electronics/AMP Cert-Lok tool 817-325, and crimp die 373-308 which can be found within the Plasti-Grip range.
