RS PRO 3 Pole DIN Plug, 2A, 100V AC, Twist Lock
The RS PRO male 3-pin DIN connector offers a reliable method to secure cable connections in audio and video recording equipment. Suitable for cable-mount applications, the straight-type plug is easy to install as it comes with a quick twist-lock mechanism to secure the two halves of the connector.
The housing of this connector is made from die-cast nickel and the contacts are silver plated to guard against corrosion and rust. The flexible, black strain relief ensures durability by protecting the cable inside from wear and tear. As part of the RS PRO series, the product is strictly tested for quality and complies with British electrostatic discharge standards.
Apart from usage in audio and video equipment, DIN connectors are also used in Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) equipment, and test and medical instrumentation. They can also be used to connect routers to personal computers.
