These DC motor controllers from our trusted RS PRO range have microprocessors that monitor the load on a motor and adjust the torque as needed with minimum noise. They're designed for use with permanent-magnet and shunt-wound motors.

For safety, a prominent green LED light on the circuit board notifies you when the current is tripped, the supply voltage is low or the motor is overheated. If a critical temperature rise is detected, the controller's innovative thermal shutdown means it'll turn itself off gradually. An input relay turns the motor controller off in case of severe faults and if there's no activity for more than 15 seconds it will go into sleep mode.

You can select from a range of presets including high or low speed, overcurrent, acceleration or deceleration. The potentiometer input lets you control the speed of the motor more accurately. The durable construction and safety features mean it's suitable for cars, computer drives and fans.
