TE Connectivity Tel-Splice Telephone Cable Connectors
Tel-Splice connectors for splicing telephone cable conductors. These Tel-Splice connectors have an IDC contact, chemical and moisture resistant housings and accept any combination of solid copper wire from 0.4 to 0.9mm2. Straight, bridge, and half-tap splices can also be made with these connectors. The filled versions of these Tel-Splice connectors (237-5659, 756-1010) prevent insulation resistance failiures and contact damage caused by water immersion or environmental contamination. The wire entry ports of these Tel-Splice connectors extend to rear of housing, which prevents two wires sliding into one contact position.
Splices may be crimped using crimp pliers, stock no. 238-9434
