Olympic Game Disruptions
In the lead up to, and during the Olympic Games, we will be working closely with our partners at Parcelforce and City Sprint to ensure minimal impact on your business. We will be working hard to get deliveries to you on time during this busy period and any disruption will be advised when orders are placed. Our quick-glance guide below will give you some details of any changes: Standard Delivery This service will not be affected. Next Day Delivery There may be some disruption to next day delivery services following road closures around key Olympic routes. Timed Deliveries Deliveries before 9am and 10am on certain days will be affected by road closures. See postcodes affected in the tables below. Trade Counters City Sprint have advised us that some deliveries from the Bow branch will be disrupted due to access restrictions around the Olympic venues. To help minimise the impact that the Olympics might have on your business, RS recommends the following: carry additional stock items needed to maintain your production lines; use branches as an alternative delivery address to ensure that your orders arrive on time.
