Working with your own part numbers makes stock processing easier


How does it work?

When you place your order for RS products, alongside the RS stock numbers you can add in your own part numbers. All these part numbers will appear on your delivery note and invoice, making your stock processing much easier.
You can add your own part numbers to RS stock numbers on all our ordering channels.

Benefits to you
  • Allows you to process deliveries faster and more accurately, placing stocks in the right places.
  • Speeds up invoice processing, as it's easier to cross-reference your own part numbers against RS invoices.

Please note:
  • All your part numbers and RS stock numbers must be quoted on every order.
  • For web ordering, you will need to change how the order pad is displayed. To do this simply click on the Cost Centre/Part no/Image preferences tab and a new window will open, you then select 'I want to add my own part number'. This will then change the order pad and insert an additional field called 'My Part Number'.
