For tasks that only require a simple display unit, requiring minimal configuration there are two additional ranges.
The XBT-N - 2 lines of 20 characters on a green backlit LCD.

Key GT series features
Versatile communication:
- One or two serial links supporting both RS232C & RS422-RS485 to connect automated systems
- Ethernet for improved external data exchange and Web services:
- ftp server to efficiently transfer files
And with Vijeo Designer:
- A web gate function
- A web system page server to control applications, with remote terminal diagnostics from the navigator of your PC
- HTML page navigator function
- Multilink on 2 serial ports and an Ethernet option for simultaneous equipment control
- Numerous programmable controller connections and a range of protocols including Modbus Plus, Fipio, Profibus DP and DeviceNet
- USB port allows connection of peripherals such as printer, barcode reader, etc
Greater Openness
Panels from 7.5” upwards have additional auxiliary interfaces:
- Connect your equipment such as pushbutton, pilot light, klaxon, rotating beacon, speaker, etc
- Use the plug-in terminal block with 3 digital outputs (run, system alarm, event buzzer), a reset input and a “sound” output
- Compact Flash card up to 1GB to store applications, recipes, history files and images
- Use a USB memory stick to download your application for backup or transfer
- Upward compatibility with the Magelis XBT G range
- Vijeo designer provides driver support for all major PLC platforms including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and more

- Simulation on PC to shorten development time
- Advanced customisation features to allow the HMI to match the process exactly
- Multi-protocol supports enables you to connect your HMI's to the widest range of equipment
- Webgate functionality to allow remote access of the HMI via an Internet browser
