Molex GWConnect 8000/8100 Series Electrical Enclosures

The Molex 8000 and 8100 series are a range of enclosures constructed from die cast aluminium in a selection of sizes and colours with a polyester powder finish.

They are regularly used indoors in industrial settings as well as outdoors for the following purposes:

• Automotive
• Armed Forces
• Parking

These useful enclosures are fully safety compliant and meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC. To be fully universal they can operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Separate DIN rails or metal plates can be used inside the enclosures for the purpose of mounting breakers, terminal blocks, circuits, control devices and a whole host of other components.

The 8100 series can be mounted via internal holes while the 8000 series can also be mounted using external flanges. Both are made from anti-ageing materials that are water, oil and grease resistant.
